Welcome to LHI's new Design Journal! It's a new space to share my projects, inspirations, obsessions, tricks and tips. I am kicking off my inaugural Design Journal post with my first ever trip to Legends of La Cienega in Los Angeles back in May!
Inspiring keynote talk called "Life Beyond Design" with Charlotte Moss, Nate Berkus and Davit Netto hosted by Dessin Fournir.
Legends is an annual celebration of all things design in the La Cienega Design Quarter in West Hollywood and it brings together taste makers from the worlds of design, architecture and art for a packed three days. Legends features more than 40 receptions, keynote panels, forums, conversations, cocktail parties, book signings, personal appearances and numerous other opportunities for people to see and engage in a dialogue about design.

To say I was overwhelmed, in a very good way, is an understatement. I had the chance to interact with some of my design heroes during their keynote discussions, visit amazing showrooms and see countless beautiful things and I may or may not have had a few midday rose's thrown into the mix as well!

I came away from Legends feeling so inspired about what I do as a professional designer and more importantly feeling so excited about what this experience means for my clients and business. It is so important to me that each of my clients have a unique experience with their projects and getting out to see new product offerings and to connect and learn from other designers is so key to delivering this service.
